T-Hud

Number 16 of the Minnesota Timberwolves Troy Hudson (“T-Hud”) has played in nine NBA campaigns; the last four have been with the Timberwolves.  An outstanding guard known for his quickness, solid defense and accurate shooting, Troy previously played for the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Orlando Magic before moving to Minnesota.

Emerging from two seasons of college basketball at Southern Illinois University, T-Hud was the all-time leading two-year scorer for SIU.  He played briefly with Yakima and Sioux Falls of the CBA before entering the NBA.  Although hampered by injuries in the past three seasons, Troy hopes the 2006-2007 season will be a break-out year in his NBA career.

Troy has been keenly interested in the music since he was a child in Carbondale, Illinois.  He formed his Nutty Boyz Group featuring rap and hip-hop music in 2002, and has performed in numerous music venues in the Mid-West since that time.  In 2003, Troy was invited to tour Kuwait with the USO, and accompanied Ervin (“Magic”) Johnson and Mark Madsen on the trip.  An avid music writer, Troy has written over two thousand original songs in his music career.  In 2004, Troy formed Nutty Boyz Entertainment, which has evolved into Troy E. Hudson Enterprises, with Troy at the helm.

Featuring a full range of music labels and production capabilities, Hudson Records and Nutty Boyz Records began actively recording and publishing music in 2005 at his newly built Hudson Studios, a private set of state-of-the-art music studios located in North Minneapolis.  Troy expects his first major record release, “Undrafted” to be distributed in the early Summer of 2007.  The first single off of the album will be “Tru Love” featuring Ray J.  Other artist on the album include Three 6 Mafia, Mo and Trick Daddy.
